Your Link to Your Child’s Learning

At Immanuel, we believe education works best when families and schools are in sync. SEQTA Engage is our parent portal that gives you a real-time window into your child’s learning — anytime, anywhere.

You can use SEQTA Engage to:

  • View homework and upcoming assessments
  • See marks and teacher feedback
  • Access lesson materials and subject outlines
  • Check your child’s timetable and attendance
  • Catch up on notices and student announcements
  • Message teachers directly
  • Download semester reports

GETTING STARTED

Step 1: Look out for your invitation 

New families will receive an email invitation with a unique link to set up their SEQTA Engage account. 

Step 2: Create your account 

Click the link in your email and follow the prompts to confirm your details and create a password. 

Step 3: Log in anytime 

Once your child has started at Immanuel, you can access SEQTA Engage at: 

  • Mobile App Options: 


Option 1 – Immanuel College App
 

    • Download via the App Store or Google Play 
    • Log in with your parent credentials 
    • Access notices, absences, links to SEQTA and more 


Option 2 – SEQTA Engage App
 

    • Download via the App Store or Google Play 
    • Use your 5-digit Immanuel Parent login email: 
      • Login format: Your username will be a 5-digit number followed by @immanuel.qld.edu.au 
        Example: [email protected] 

Once you’re set up and logged in, you’ll land on your personal SEQTA dashboard. It’s simple to use and easy to customise. From here, you can view homework, check your child’s timetable, track assessment progress, message teachers, and more — all in just a few taps. 

You can use the top menu to switch between children if you have more than one enrolled, and you can personalise your dashboard by selecting which tiles you’d like to see first. 

Once you’re logged in, you’ll land on an easy-to-navigate dashboard personalised to your family. From here, you can access everything you need to stay in the loop with your child’s school life – no digging around, no jargon. Just quick access to what matters most. 

Homework 
See what’s due, when, and what’s required for each task. 

Assessment Results & Info 
Track results and feedback for each subject. Filter by subject or view in calendar mode. 

Subject Outlines & Lesson Resources 
Explore what your child is learning, lesson by lesson. Access classwork, resources, and daily content. 

Weekly Timetable 
View your child’s class schedule and switch between siblings with ease. 

Attendance 
Keep track of attendance, explain absences or notify the school in advance. 

Student Notices 
Browse student announcements posted through SEQTA Learn. (Please note: no push alerts for these.)

Message a Teacher 
Click any class and use the email icon to message subject teachers or House Leaders. 

Semester Reports 
Download current and past reports as printable PDFs. 

Dashboard & Settings 
Customise your dashboard view with quick access to what matters most (Homework, Timetable, Absences). Update your theme, password, or notification preferences here too. 

My Details 
Review or update your family contact information. Best accessed via desktop or tablet. 

Get gentle updates about your child’s learning: 

  • Details: Upcoming assessments or exam info 
  • Results and Feedback: Released marks and teacher comments 
  • Reflections: Your child’s self-assessment and learning reflections 


To manage notifications:
 

  • Go to Settings > Notifications 
  • Choose what you’d like to receive 
  • Click the bell icon to clear all if needed 

HOW TO GUIDE

Using SEQTA Engage

Keep track of school attendance and explain any absences quickly and easily. 

You can view your child’s past absences, explain any that are still unresolved, or let us know in advance if they’ll be away.

📱Also available through the Immanuel College App for quick access on the go.

Stay on top of your child’s upcoming tasks.  View all assessments for each subject – including due dates, task details, and teacher feedback. 

Results and grades will appear here once they’re released. 

You can also filter by subject or use the calendar view.

See what your child is learning in class. 

Each subject includes an outline of lesson content, classwork and learning materials. 

Choose a subject, pick a date or tap “Today” to view what’s happening in real time. 

Customise your homepage to focus on what’s important to you.

Click the ⚙️ icon to choose what you want to see. 

We suggest adding:

  • Homework – to track upcoming tasks and due dates 
  • Timetable – for a quick look at each day’s schedule
  • Unexplained Absences – so nothing slips through the cracks

Check and update your family contact information. Best accessed on a laptop or iPad. You can view or update your phone number, email, or home address so we can always stay in touch.

Catch up on daily student announcements.
These are the same messages your child sees each morning via SEQTA Learn. You can browse current and past notices at any time. 

Please note: student notices don’t send alerts. You’ll need to check back regularly. 
Parent-specific notices are sent through the Immanuel College App.

Download and save your child’s academic reports.  Once reports are published, they’ll appear as downloadable PDFs in this section. You can also view past reports if needed. 

Personalise your SEQTA experience. 
Here you can: 

  • Update your password 
  • Switch between silent or audible notifications 
  • Choose a theme colour for your account 
  • Connect your mobile device by generating a QR code 

See your child’s daily and weekly class schedule. 
Great for planning ahead! If you have more than one child, use the top menu to switch between them. 

Get in touch with teachers or House Leaders. 
Click on a class in the timetable, then tap the email icon to send a message directly through SEQTA Engage.
