The earlier you apply, the better! We start our enrolment process for Prep and Year 7 about 18 months before entry. For other year levels, we recommend applying the year before you’d like to start or as soon as you’re considering Immanuel. Early applications give you the best chance of securing an interview and a place in our Immanuel family. 

Our wait pool considers a variety of factors to ensure we’re building a diverse and vibrant school community. We look at things like sibling connections, children of past students, returning students, scholarship recipients, and students from our Early Learning Centre. The date of application is also a factor, but there’s no strict order. We consider each application individually, looking at how each family will contribute to and benefit from our Immanuel community.

Don’t worry – your child’s journey with Immanuel doesn’t end there. If we can’t offer a place in Prep or Year 7, we’ll automatically roll over their application to the next available entry point or year level. We’re committed to finding a place for every child who’s a good fit for our community, even if it takes a little longer than initially hoped.

Yes, we do need a separate application for each child in your family. This helps us ensure we have all the necessary information to provide the best possible experience for each of your children. The good news is, you only need to pay the application fee once per family. We know that every child is unique, and we want to give each one the individual attention they deserve.

At Immanuel, we’ve got technology covered. Our 1:1 device program provides all the tech your child needs, and it’s included in your fees. This ensures all our students have access to the same high-quality devices and software, creating a level playing field for digital learning. It’s one less thing for you to worry about!

Our main intake years are Prep, Year 6, and Year 7. These are exciting transition points in a child’s educational journey, and we love welcoming new faces at these stages. But don’t worry if you’re looking at other year levels – we often have spots open up throughout the school, and we’re always happy to welcome new families when space allows. Every year at Immanuel is a chance for growth and new beginnings.

We’ve designed our application process to be as straightforward as possible. We’ll need a completed online Application for Enrolment form, a $440 application fee, and some supporting documents like your child’s birth certificate, recent school reports, and NAPLAN results (or equivalent). For students joining us from overseas, we might need a few extra bits like visa paperwork or an English fluency certificate. It might seem like a lot, but it all helps us get to know your child better and ensure we can provide the best possible experience from day one.

We believe in transparency when it comes to fees. For our primary students, fees cover everything from stationery to curriculum camps, excursions, and even devices. In secondary, it’s much the same, though students do need to supply their own stationery. We try to make things as inclusive as possible to avoid surprise costs throughout the year. We’d love to show you around! Our Open Mornings are a fantastic way to experience Immanuel in action. You’ll see classes in full swing, meet our staff, and get a real feel for our community spirit. If you’re looking at a specific vacancy, we can arrange a personal tour. Can’t make it in person? No worries – our virtual tour gives you a great overview of our facilities. Nothing beats seeing Immanuel for yourself, though, so we encourage you to visit if you can. We can’t wait to welcome you!

We understand that getting to and from school safely is a top priority for parents. We have one dedicated bus that serves the Maleny township area. For other routes, we partner with CDC to provide transport that caters specifically to school children. It’s a system that ensures our students can get to school safely and on time, no matter where they’re coming from on the Sunshine Coast.

Our uniform is a source of pride for our students, and we want to make sure getting kitted out is as easy as possible for you. You’ll find a full price list and details about our College shop on our website. Our shop staff are experts at fitting out new students, so you’ll be in good hands when you visit. The uniform is an important part of the Immanuel experience, helping our students feel part of our community from day one.
